Belle and Sebastian are set to play in St. Paul, MN, tonight (August 15) as part of their current North American tour, though the show might have not gone as planned after the Scottish group left their drummer behind in North Dakota ahead of travelling to the next state.
As the Minnesota StarTribune reports, frontman Stuart Murdoch put a call out on Twitter in search of someone to "be a hero" and ferry drummer Richard Colburn to Minnesota. Shira Knishkowy at Matador Records told the publication that Colburn "was left at a service station; that's all I know."
Tickets for tonight's show at St. Paul's Palace Theatre are available here, and we'll be shocked if the story isn't told in incredible detail at some point during the evening.

Between sourcing a driver and having his followers wonder if he was joking or not, Murdoch soon replied that the situation had thankfully been resolved.Shit, we left Richard in North Dakota. Anyone want to be a hero and get him to St Paul, Minnesota somehow. The gig hangs in the balance..š³
