After a bit of a delay, Vampire Weekend bassist Chris Baio is ready to unveil his latest solo effort as Baio today (September 18) with the arrival of his first full-length, The Names. To mark the occasion, he filled the slot as the musical guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers and delivered a live rendition of "Sister of Pearl" last night (September 17).
Backed by a full band, Baio was free to roam the small stage, mic in hand and dressed in his best black-and-white formalwear, as he crooned and wiggled his way through the bouncy, feel-good tune.
