The song was previously limited to physical editions of their acclaimed album 'Talk Memory'

If you aren't constantly queuing up BADBADNOTGOOD's Talk Memory via your streaming service of choice, you may be basking in all its analogue, tape-recorded glory with one of the album's physical editions. For a while, Talk Memory's vinyl, CD and tape copies were the only way to hear a song titled "Open Channels" — until today.

Ahead of kicking off a North American tour behind their latest album, the trio have now given "Open Channels" a digital release. An accompanying video directed by Sylvain Chaussée — shot on 35mm Kodak film in CinemaScope — finds BBNG hiking their gear through snowy woods, before shots in colour help bring their formerly physical-only composition to life.

Towards the end of last year, BADBADNOTGOOD teamed with fast-rising Montreal MC and Exclaim! New Fave Skiifall on new single "Break of Dawn." The collaborators have since rescheduled their planned Canadian stops on BBNG's North American tour, now aiming to perform in the country later in 2022.
