Bad Religion

'Christmas Songs' (album stream)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Oct 29, 2013

We have yet to hit Halloween, but California punkers Bad Religion are skipping over the spooky biz entirely to stream their new holiday set Christmas Songs, which hit stores today (October 29) via Epitaph Records.

Along with the previously premiered, punky run-through of "O Come, O Come Emmanuel," the band give us hyper-speed hymnals "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing," which begins with a full-band a cappella intro, and "O Come All Ye Faithful." Just to confuse us even further, there's also a remix of Recipe for Hate's god-and-government-criticizing "American Jesus" single, though nary a sleigh bell is to be heard.

You can stream it all down below.

While Exclaim!'s review of the record was less than generous, take note that part of the proceeds from album sales will go to the charitable SNAP (Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests) organization.
