Backfire

This has the look and sound of your average East Coast hardcore outfit, except Backfire is from Holland. This is their first record since losing their drummer to suicide two years ago. Although this is pretty derivative stuff, with gruff vocals, metal riffs and corny tuff guy lyrics like "No apologies, no remorse, you're the scum of society, no longer will we tolerate," it still manages to rock. Fans of Buried Alive and Sick of it All will get a kick out of this.
