Following the recent leak of Baauer's Aa track "Temples," the boomed-up sounds of the album's "Day Ones" have now gone live via an official music video. The dance track comes equipped with scenes from a strip mall LARP war, and is streaming online now.
The video presents a gunfire-heavy parking lot battle scene between modern day Red Coats and American revolutionaries, with rappers Novelist and Leikeli47 getting caught up in the crossfire. Bullets fly, soldiers are felled, and a plethora of tricorner hats hit the pavement.
Leikeli47 takes this in stride as she spits hot fire beneath an opulent yet suspiciously hung outdoor chandelier, while a brief pause in the fight also lets a youthful pair explore the scene on a BMX.
Drumming up talking points on war, economy, status and more, the video can be streamed down below.
As previously reported, Baauer's debut collection, Aa, sees release March 18 via LuckyMe.
