Daniel Romano has been in Attack in Black for seven years now, but for the first time in his musical career, Romano is going solo. Workin' for the Music Man is his debut album, which is set for release on June 1 via Romano's You've Changed Records.

Workin' For The Music Man was recorded in Romano's basement and features performances by his father (David), his aunt (Darlene), his love (Misha) and a family friend (Natalie). And according to the press release, "Offering a close look at four months of Romano's life, the album captures the beauty and the struggles of the period with a humorous and humble delivery. It contains elements and influences from his childhood and from his parents: folk tinged ballads and country music paralleling the works of Hank Williams and George Jones."
