Atreyu Take 'Long Live' on North American Tour, Share New Video

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jul 17, 2015

It's been six long years since Orange County metalcore warriors Atreyu released an album, marking by far the longest break between their records in their career. Now, they're back. Having already announced that Long Live would arrive on September 18 through Search and Destroy Records/Spinefarm Records, they've now confirmed the details surrounding the album, in addition to sharing a new video and mapping out a North American tour.

That's the freshly unveiled 12-song tracklist below, and you can see the album art above. Long Live is also now available to pre-order at the band's website.

At the bottom of the page, watch a video for "Long Live," directed by the band's own bassist Porter McKnight. The song is a punishingly heavy anthem that becomes dramatically melodic during the choruses. The accompanying video is a sinister one, as some coffin-dragging cloaked figures emerge from a lake to murder people in a various unpleasant ways. There's an interesting twist once we see the cloaked figures' faces.

Also below, see Atreyu's tour schedule. In addition to a number of U.S. shows in the late summer and early fall, there are Canadian stops in Toronto on October 5 and Montreal on October 6.
