Before At the Gates officially wage their war on reality via the release of their next LP, the Swedish metal legends are hoping you'll get lost in the scenic new black and white video for the record's "Death and the Labyrinth."
Crags, canyons and rocky alcoves are on full display in the video, with vocalist Tomas Lindberg's either standing stunned in the presence of nature, crumbling to his knees in anguish or shielding his eyes from an oncoming eclipse. To be fair, he's also putting his pipes to work, screaming about a terrifying drift into oblivion, as well as the poetry of broken dreams.
It's been a long time coming, but you can finally grab the band's At War With Reality October 28 via Century Media.
