Calgary songwriter Matthew Swann is known in the musical world as Extra Happy Ghost!!!, but lately he's been focusing on his Astral Swans project. It's under this name that he just shared a live video for the song "You Carry a Sickness."
This is a simple living room performance, as Swann sits doing in a comfortable-looking chair with an electric guitar and an amplifier and performs the haunting ballad. The clip, which was directed by Kaelen Ohm, takes this image and warps it into kaleidoscopic designs and a cat eventually makes its way into the proceedings.
Swann is taking Astral Swans on tour with the Abramson Singers this month in BC and Alberta. See the schedule below.
