Following 2016's debut EP Balance, Asta Hiroki returns with a new double A-side "Channels/Vulnerable," new tracks that are a welcome addition to the Brighton-based producer and visual artist's growing discography.

Signed to Jalapeño Records, Hiroki has quickly established himself as one of the label's rising acts. While "Vulnerable" once more proves Hiroki's deft ability to work alongside notable singer (such as former Balance vocalist Kathrin deBoer and current featured artist Suzi Analogue), "Channels" is where he truly shines. Influenced by "jazz, electronica, post-Dilla hip-hop, lo-fi and glitch music," Hiroki has shown fans the many directions he can channel his musical motivations, but his best work remains the most minimal when it comes to production, and on "Channels," he pares things down to create a truly immersive and introspective composition.

It's this area of his music — ambient, downtempo — that will ensure Hiroki's staying power for years to come.
