"The Rally" had originally been scheduled for June 20, 2020. A couple months into the pandemic, they delayed it to June 19, 2021.
In a tweet thread, Arkells wrote, "We appreciate your patience and understanding with this. This show is our BABY, and we need to make sure we do it right."
Refunds are available for the next 30 days through Ticketmaster. Fans can also hang onto their tickets for next year.
The 2020 show was supposed to feature Bleachers, K.Flay and Haviah Mighty. The 2022 lineup is still unconfirmed, but Arkells wrote, "It'll be good — promise."
In the meantime, Arkells are working on new music. They recently released the single "You Can Get It," a collaboration with K.Flay.
#HamOnt: We appreciate your patience and understanding with this. This show is our BABY, and we need to make sure we do it right. There are no shortcuts for putting on a show in a football field - even bringing in the staging requires months notice!

The rest of the lineup is subject to change, but let us worry about that. It'll be good - promise.

In the meanwhile, we are rearing to go so trust you'll be seeing us IRL soon as we get the thumbs up. Stay tuned as things evolve.
Ok, back to working on new tunes.
