Ariana Grande Unveils 'Mean Girls'-Inspired "thank u, next" Video Trailer

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Nov 27, 2018

Ariana Grande has been teasing her epic chick flick-inspired "thank u, next" video with plenty of tweets and photos, but now she's shared a 47-second video trailer.

The clip opens with a parody of Mean Girls, which sees students talking straight to the camera about their idol worship for Grande (who has usurped the role of queen bee Regina George).

It even features an actual Mean Girls star — Jonathan Bennett, who played high school heartthrob Aaron Samuels and famously asked what day it was on October 3rd.

Grande's "Dance to This" collaborator Troye Sivan also makes a cameo, poking fun at the misheard lyrics to "thank u, next" that left some people wondering if she was dating a girl named Aubrey.

Let the anticipation for the full video build up even more by watching the teaser clip below.
