Canadian indie rock veteran Andrew Whiteman has already made a huge impression through his work with Broken Social Scene and Apostle of Hustle, but apparently those outlets aren't enough to contain his musical ideas, as the Toronto-based multi-instrumentalist has revealed a new project called AroarA.
So far, we don't know a lot about the group, which is composed of Whiteman and his wife Ariel Engle, but AroarA have posted a 15-second non-musical track on their Facebook page where they discuss buckwheat pancakes. We also have a picture of the duo, posted above.
While we can't tell you what AroarA sound like just yet, we do know that the duo will join Here We Go Magic for a spring tour this May, including Canadian stops in Toronto and Montreal. All dates are available below.
Tour dates:
5/2 San Francisco, CA - Rickshaw Shop *
5/4 Salt Lake City, UT - Urban Lounge *
