Just over eight years ago, members of Anthrax, Fall Out Boy and Every Time I Die formed supergroup the Damned Things. Now, the group have revealed that plans to return to action include a new lineup and EP.

The Damned Things will deliver a new EP titled High Crimes on April 26 through Nuclear Blast. The band also posted a pair of lineup photos on Facebook today, marking the first activity on their page since 2012. You can find them below.

The black and white shots show Anthrax axeman Scott Ian, ETID vocalist Keith Buckley, Fall Out Boy's Andy Hurley and Joe Trohman, and Alkaline Trio's Dan Andriano. The photos also confirm the departures of ex-Anthrax guitarist Rob Caggiano and bassist Josh Newton.

The Damned Things released debut LP Ironiclast in 2010. Last year, Ian hinted at the possibility of new tunes in conversation with podcast Wall of Sound.

"We always knew with the Damned Things, it was always going to be something that we would get to do schedules permitting, because we are all in extremely busy bands," Ian said. "But look, we're all friends and we're all in contact with each other on a regular basis and I can say that there is, possibly, a record, but that's all I'm going to say about it."

The band have also announced an appearance at Jacksonville's Welcome to Rockville festival this May.
