Pantera are reportedly set to reunite for a tour in 2023 — their first time hitting the road together in over 20 years.

The surviving members of the '90s metal vanguards, vocalist Philip Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown, have signed with Artist Group International to book shows in North America, as per a new report by Billboard. Dennis Arfa and Peter Pappalardo will be the booking agents responsible for making many a metalhead dreams come true.

"We are thrilled to be working with such an iconic band and bringing their music back to the fans," Pappalardo told the publication.

UPDATE (7/15/22 9:28 a.m. ET): Billboard has now confirmed that guitarist Zakk Wylde and Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante will join Anselmo and Brown on tour. This iteration of Pantera will reportedly headline a number of major festivals and stage some additional headlining concerts of their own.

Pantera's last performance was August 26, 2001, in Yokohama, Japan, supporting their ninth studio album Reinventing the Steel. Their tour was scheduled to continue, with the Texas outfit having flown to Europe the following month, but the World Trade Center was attacked before they could play a single show. They cancelled the tour and the band never regrouped.

It's currently unclear who will fill in for late co-founding members, drummer Vincent "Vinnie Paul" Abbott and guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, the former brother having passed away in 2016 and the latter in 2004.
