Animal Collective Announce 'Spirit They've Gone, Spirit They've Vanished' Remastered Reissue

It's been nearly 23 years since Animal Collective's Avey Tare and Panda Bear released their debut album Spirit They've Gone, Spirit They've Vanished — which Exclaim! called "bent and hopelessly entertaining" at the time — and now, the band are treating its 10 tracks to a remaster and full-scale reissue, courtesy of Domino.

Arriving digitally, on CD and vinyl on May 12, the original album arrives alongside a bonus EP, A Night at Mr. Raindrop's Holistic Supermarket, which touts five previously unheard tracks — including a cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams."

Today, the band share the 2023 remaster of "Chocolate Girl" and the newly released "Untitled #1." You can listen to both below, where you'll also find both records' tracklistings.
