Angel Olsen

"Tiniest Seed" / "Sweet Dreams" (videos)

Last year, Bonnie "Prince" Billy collaborator Angel Olsen issued her sophomore LP Half Way Home. Now, in 2013, the Chicago-based singer-songwriter is celebrating both past and future releases with a pair of new music videos.

First up is a minimalist black and white clip for Half Way Home closer "Tiniest Seed." The video finds Olsen singing her low-key, rustic country shuffler from the shadows. Throughout the vid, we see glimpses of a cabin room and her singing with an army of herself via some film footage trickery.

Olsen also unveiled new tune "Sweet Dreams" in an especially more colourful clip. The saturated hues of Super 8 footage focus on some nature scenes and walks around a field. The song itself matches the tripped-out visuals, as its sounds are steeped in '60s psychedelic rock. The track will appear on Olsen's Sleepwalker 7-inch, along with another exclusive cut called "California," which Sixteen Tambourines issues January 15.

Both videos were directed by Olsen, Randy Sterling Hunter, Ashley Connor and Zia Anger, and you can catch them down below.
