As previously reported, Matt Skiba is gearing up to trade in the arena-ready mall punk of Blink-182 to revisit some spookier vibes as Alkaline Trio. The band announced their latest LP Is This Thing Cursed? last month, and now we get a second taste of the release with its title track.
"Is This Thing Cursed?" is a dynamic, melodic and well-paced pop-punk tune that offers plenty of pop appeal without bowing down to the hyper-compressed radio rock of Skiba's current dayjob.
