Fans of St. Catharines, ON's Alexisonfire rejoice: not only are the band recording a new album for 2009 release but according to guitarist Wade McNeil, the album is "fucking heavy." In a recent interview with Metal Hammermagazine, McNeil revealed that the band will be entering the studio on February 1 to record their as-yet-untitled fourth album.
"For the first time ever we have too many songs," he said, pointing out that they've spent more time than usual in preparation for the recording session. "We usually come off the road. Kiss our girlfriends, do our laundry, write a record in a month, record it in a month, then leave for tour."
Before they hop into the studio, Alexisonfire will be joining Constantines for two December dates down the QEW in Hamilton, ON.
