AC/DC's Brian Johnson Told by Doctor to "Stop Touring Immediately"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Mar 8, 2016

AC/DC have been touring extensively behind their latest album Rock or Bust since it came out in 2014, proving that they're still able to (literally) tear things up. Sadly, the future of the Aussie rock group as a touring outfit is now looking uncertain.

The band have rescheduled their next ten shows across the United States, explaining that vocalist Brian Johnson has been advised by doctors to "stop touring immediately or risk total hearing loss."

A statement from the band's website says that the next ten shows will be "made up later in the year, likely with a guest vocalist." The affected concert dates are listed below, while the band's full list of upcoming shows can be found here.

No official statement has been given with regards to Johnson's future with AC/DC beyond the current tour.

Johnson originally joined the band in 1980, following the death of vocalist Bon Scott.
