311 and 7-Eleven Traded Twitter Accounts for April Fool's Day

March 11 was weeks ago, but April 1 proved to be as good a day as any to celebrate chilled-out radio rockers 311. After all, the band were handed the keys to the 7-Eleven Twitter account and changed the brand to "3-ELEVEn."

In fact, the two brands traded accounts entirely, with the convenience store chain hopping on the band's Twitter to share posts about Taquitos and Slurpees.

Honestly, it's fairly typical of pretty annoying brand behaviour online. But at the same time, there's almost something quaint about it. It's just two chill trademarks having some fun with numbers. Hard to get too mad at that.
