Beloved comedian Will Ferrell was hospitalized last night (April 12) following a serious car crash that saw the SUV he was driving flip in traffic.
According to TMZ, the accident took place at around 11 p.m. on the I5 freeway near Orange County. Ferrell was riding in an SUV with two other passengers and their chauffeur, and they were sideswiped by another car.
An eye witness told TMZ that a woman from Farrell's car had been bleeding profusely. As for Ferrell, he was hospitalized and released with no significant injuries this morning.
Ferrell was returning home from a Funny or Die event in San Diego, where he had appeared as Anchorman's Ron Burgundy.
