Thanks to films like You're Next and The Guest, Adam Wingard has made a name for himself as one of Hollywood's most promising directors. Following his reboot of Blair Witch, Wingard has been handed the keys to another massive Hollywood property.
The director will helm Godzilla vs. Kong, the fourth film in Legendary's monster series. It follows 2014's Godzilla, this year's Kong: Skull Island and 2019's Godzilla: King of the Monster. The film is slated for release in May of 2020.
Wingard has been keeping plenty busy, having also just wrapped shooting for Netflix's live-action adaptation of the manga Death Note.
Kong, meanwhile, kicked plenty of ass in Kong: Skull Island. You can read our interview with director Jordan Vogt-Roberts here.
