'The Flash' Actor Logan Williams Dead at 16

The Canadian actor also had recurring roles in 'Supernatural,' 'When Calls the Heart' and 'The Whispers'

Actor Logan Williams has died at age 16. The Canadian actor was best-known for playing young Barry Allen on The Flash.

His mother, Marlyse Williams, confirmed his death in an interview with Tri-City News based out of Port Coquitlam, BC, saying, the family is "absolutely devastated." Williams passed away on Thursday (April 2).

Additionally, due to worldwide physical distancing measures to slow the ongoing global COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, Marlyse told Tri-City News that she is mourning alone, with relatives and friends only allowed to contact her by phone. 

"I am not able to hug my parents who lost their only grandchild," she added.

Logan Williams was born in Vancouver in 2003 and grew up in nearby Coquitlam. Other acting credits include his debut in 2014 Hallmark TV movie The Color of Rain and recurring roles in When Calls the Heart, Supernatural and The Whispers.

No cause of death has been disclosed.
