That '70s Show is getting a new spinoff, as That '90s Show has been ordered at Netflix, with some of the original show's cast members set to reprise their roles.

Variety reports that Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp, who played Red and Kitty Forman, are stepping back into their roles. It's set in 1995, and follows Eric and Donna's daughter Leia Forman as she visits her grandparents in Point Place, WI. There, she bonds with a new generation of local teens.

Original show creators Bonnie Turner and Terry Turner are back on board, this time with their daughter Lindsey Turner. Gregg Mettler, who also worked on That '70s Show, serves as executive producer and showrunner.

That '90s Show will be a multi-cam sitcom, similar to the original. Netflix has ordered 10 episodes of the show.

Tommy Chong previously said that he'd love to reprise his character as part of a That '70s Show spinoff, but there's no word if he will be involved at all in That '90s Show.

That '70s Show has already gotten one spinoff, That '80s Show, which flamed out after just 13 episodes in 2002. That show wasn't a full-blown spinoff, however, in that it didn't feature any characters from the original show or overlap with its plot in any way.
