It's been a long, hot summer, and with cooler weather returning to the cycle of life, soon too will NBC's Saturday Night Live for its 47th season — and from the looks of new promotional material, the long-running series plans to resume in-person once more.
The upcoming season's first episode will air on October 2, according to a cheer-filled announcement today via Twitter. Presumably, the season premiere will be followed by episodes on the 9th, 16th, 23rd and perhaps a Halloween adjacent episode on the 30th.
Season 46 capped off with a cast including several long-time members, Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon, Cecily Strong, Kenan Thompson, Bowen Yang, Colin Jost, Beck Bennett, Kyle Mooney and Michael Che. So far, no word on who's planning to return.
