'RuPaul's Drag Race' Gets First-Ever Canadian Queen

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jan 24, 2019

RuPaul's Drag Race isn't even through All Stars 4 yet, but the hit show has already "RuVealed" the cast of queens that will compete on Season 11.

U.S. Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon and Season 10 winner Aquaria hosted an introductory special earlier today, which unveiled all of the queens that will fight for the crown — including the first-ever Canadian.

Brooke Lynn Hytes (the drag persona of Brock Hayhoe) hails from Etobicoke, ON, and has a background in ballet. The performer lived and danced in Cape Town and New York City for years, but moved back to Toronto in 2011.

After that, Hayhoe competed and won the 2014 Miss Continental pageant (with a ballet routine to Britney Spears' "I'm a Slave 4 U" no less), and has since been living and performing in Nashville.

Below, watch the full "RuVeal" to meet all of the competing Season 11 queens.

As of yet, the premiere date for RuPaul's Drag Race Season 11 has not been announced.
