Roseanne Barr will definitely not be returning to ABC — the network is planning to kill off her character in its spinoff series The Conners. Since she has no reason to stick around in America, the controversial comedian is apparently moving to Israel.
Barr announced her decision to relocate to the Middle East in an appearance on Rabbi Shmuley's podcast. Audio of the interview was captured by TMZ and can be streamed below.
"I have an opportunity to go to Israel for a few months and study with my favourite teachers over there, and that's where I'm going to go and probably move somewhere there and study with my favourite teachers," she said.
Catching up with Barr at the airport, TMZ paps asked how long she planned to stay, to which she replied "Until hell freezes over."
As for The Conners, a date for the series has not yet been confirmed.
