Riverdale's finest are set to join the cast of The Simpsons in a new episode titled "The Hateful Eight-Year-Olds."
The cast of CW's teen drama series, including Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes and Madelaine Petsch, will star alongside Yeardley Smith's Lisa Simpson in a new episode of the long-running animated series, set to air this weekend (May 10).
According to IMDb, the Season 31 episode will see Lisa joining a group of rich girls "when she makes a friend who loves horses." The episode marks the 21st in the latest season.
"It is truly an incredible, surreal blessing that I was able to partake in one of the most iconic television shows ever made," Reinhart wrote in a post.
Mendes added: "Never in my life did I think I'd get to voice a character on The Simpsons but here we are!"
The Season 4 finale of Riverdale aired last night (May 6) on CW. The episode is available to stream on Netflix as of today. Production on Season 5 has been halted due to coronavirus since mid-March.
