Ryan Reynolds has, at least theoretically, been taking an acting hiatus (although he still appeared in a few movies in 2022). It's the perfect time, then, to go back to college — and, with that in mind, the actor surprised students at Toronto's Seneca College by dropping in on Wednesday (January 1).
It's unclear why he was on campus — researching for Van Wilder 2, perhaps? — but he stopped by a journalism class and crashed a student news report, reading off a teleprompter about Dr. Phil coming to an end.

He tweeted a thank-you to Seneca and posed for a photo with a #SenecaProud banner.
It's not clear what Reynolds's connection to Seneca is, but students at TMU must be feeling pretty left out right now.
