R.I.P. Director Andrew Horn

The filmmaker behind 'The Nomi Song' and 'We Are Twisted Fucking Sister' was 66

Andrew Horn, the director best known for helming the 2004 Klaus Nomi documentary The Nomi Song, has passed away. He was 66 years old and died of cancer.

In addition to The Nomi Song, Horn also directed the film We Are Twisted Fucking Sister, which was released in 2014. He also directed a doc called East Side Story and the narrative features The Big Blue and Doomed Love.

On top of his directorial work, Horn was a writer for publications like Variety (who first broke news of his death), as well as a researcher for other docs. He worked as a researcher on projects for Michael Moore and Spike Lee, among others. 

Horn is survived by his son Kai Kuroiwa and his brother Chris Horn.
