It is a truth universally acknowledged, that an upcoming movie must be in want of a trailer. Now, that trailer has arrived for the upcoming Jane Austen parody Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.
The first half of the the trailer, which shows Lily James in the starring role as Elizabeth Bennet, plays it straight-laced and presents the film as a standard period piece. But in the second half, we hear some noisy electro-metal from Sleigh Bells while the ladies of Longbourn weild knives, swords and muskets while viciously slaying undead brain-eaters.
The Burr Steers-directed comedy-horror flick will be out on February 5 of 2016. It also stars Sam Riley, Matt Smith, Lena Headey and Charles Dance. It's based on the 2009 parody novel of the same name by Seth Grahame-Smith.
