James Gunn's The Suicide Squad is days away from its theatrical release, and the film is getting a ton of Canadian attention thanks to an odd, yet hilarious new petition to name an Edmonton building after the city's homegrown star, Nathan Fillion.
The petition vying for the name "Nathan Fillion Civilian Pavilion" has already garnered over 18,000 signatures through Change.org, as of press time.
What's more, the cast of The Suicide Squad — including Margot Robbie, John Cena, Idris Elba and more — have boosted the petition with a new video.
"That is so funny. I 100 percent support this completely, and I really, really hope you succeed in this mission, Edmonton. I believe in it," Robbie says in the clip.
"There needs to be a Nathan Fillion Civilian Pavilion somewhere," Gunn added.
The Suicide Squad is due to hit theatres this Friday (August 6).
