Everyone's favourite 420-friendly X-Man Patrick Stewart recently delivered his final performance as Professor Charles Xavier in the superhero franchise's Logan, but the famously smooth-headed superhero role isn't the only look that Stewart can pull off.
Nearly a year ago, Stewart dressed in drag for a promotional appearance to hype his Starz sitcom Blunt Talk. He shared a photo of himself mid-transformation, and upon revealing his final look, drew adoring comparisons to silvery-haired stars like Helen Mirren and Cate Blanchett.
In the wake of last year's U.S. election, however, the photos of Stewart have resurfaced and are drawing a totally different kind of comparison. As pointed out by Buzzfeed, keen observers have noted a striking resemblance between Stewart and Donald Trump's chief counselor Kellyanne Conway.
Stewart himself confirmed that he too can see the uncanny coincidence, sharing a link to Buzzfeed's story, simply accompanied by the caption: "TWINSIES."
The realization has plenty of people calling on Saturday Night Live to enlist the Hollywood actor as the latest celebrity guest star on the show, joining the ranks of Alec Baldwin's Trump and Melissa McCarthy's Sean Spicer.
Not to take away from the killer job that regular cast member Kate McKinnon has been doing as Conway all season, but we can't deny that an SNL cameo from Stewart as Conway would be amazing.
