Last week, former Glee star Naya Rivera went missing at Lake Piru, CA. Now, her body has been recovered.
The Ventura County Sheriff confirmed today that a body was discovered in the lake after a six-day search. A law enforcement official confirmed to TMZ that the body was in fact that of Rivera.
A cause of death has not been officially confirmed, but she is expected to have drowned.
The 33-year-old actor was last seen at Lake Piru, which is located 90 kilometres south of Los Angeles. Her 4-year-old son Josey Hollis Dorsey was found in a boat. He told authorities that his mom had gone for a swim and he wasn't sure what happened to her.
Rivera appeared in 113 episodes of Glee. More recently, she lent her voice to American Dad! and appeared in the television series Step Up: High Water.
