Matthew McConaughey is the latest A-list star to join Instagram.
Celebrating his 50th birthday, the Beach Bum star joined the social media photo-sharing platform yesterday (November 4).
His bio describes him as such: "Husband. Father. Actor. Minister of Culture. Professor. Creative Director. AustinFC. JKLivin. Pickle Expert."
For his inaugural post, he shared a video in which he admits that he's nervous about sharing his views and letting people get a glimpse into his real life.
"I know I want to have a monologue, I'm not sure I want to have a dialogue," he said, before breaking into laughter.
He's already been welcomed to the platform with comments from Reese Witherspoon, Phil Mickelson and the Texas Longhorns.
McConaughey follows in the footsteps of another 50-year-old actor who recently joined Instagram — Jennifer Aniston.
