Marvel TV series Legion is coming to an end.

Today FX announced that the X-Men spinoff will finish with its third season in June. According to creator Noah Hawley, he had always envisioned Legion as a three-season arc, so he doesn't plan to keep the show going any further.

After premiering in 2017, Legion saw a significant ratings drop with Season 2, with viewership dropping by half, according to some estimates.

The cast includes Dan Stevens, Rachel Keller, Aubrey Plaza, Bill Irwin, Amber Midthunder, Jeremie Harris, Jean Smart, Jemaine Clement, Katie Aselton, Navid Negahban and Hamish Linklater.

As of yet, the premiere date for Legion Season 3 has yet to be confirmed.
