Director and producer Spike Jonze has had one hell of a day after LAPD and SWAT officers arrested an armed man who barricaded himself in the filmmaker's home.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the man barricaded himself in the home armed with a knife. The standoff took place this morning at a house on the 4000 block of Farmouth Drive, a few blocks from Los Feliz Boulevard in Los Angeles.
According to KNBC-TV Channel 4, the home belongs to Adam Spiegel — which is the birth name for Jonze. Further, the Times could not confirm the exact address but did confirm that Spiegel owns a house on Farmouth Drive, which is where the standoff took place.
The Hollywood Reporter says there were no reported injuries, although the suspect was taken to the hospital after the standoff was over.
Below, you'll find footage of the standoff, as well as footage of Jonze on the scene.
