Judd Apatow and Pete Holmes Team Up for HBO Pilot

Thanks to the success of Girls, Judd Apatow has a proven track record at HBO. Up next, he's got another program in the works. Specifically, he's teamed up with comedian Pete Holmes to work on a new show called Crashing.

As Deadline reports, the show is semi-autobiographical to Holmes, telling the story of a comedian who must sleep on the couches of his fellow New York City comedians.

The dissolution of Holmes' marriage has been frequently discussed in the comedian's career, both onstage and on his podcast You Made it Weird. Prior to this show, he hosted The Pete Hplmes Show for 80 episodes.

Crashing is expected to shoot in November.
