While Jordan Peele's name gets attached to a ton of projects these days, he's often not the one actually directing the things. Finally, that will change, as Universal has pegged a release date for Peele's next directorial effort.
On July 22, 2022, the studio is set to release Peele's proper follow-up to Us. So far, there are almost no other details, but Peele's latest is being called a "horror event," and it will not be the People Under the Stairs remake he was recently attached to.
While 2022 may still feel like a ways off, Peele is helping give us the Nia DaCosta-directed Candyman, which is now due out on August 27, 2021. For now, though, you'll just have to be a bit patient.
