Today, the Calgary Underground Film Festival has pulled the curtain on the lineup for their 15th annual event, and we've got the full batch of films for you to peruse. The event, which runs from April 16 to 22 at the Globe Cinema, will offer an impressive 55 films.
"I remember the day we started this festival and our vision was to grow within our means, screen provocative, boundary-pushing independent film, build a solid community, and to really make sure we were creating a festival as fans, for fans," co-founder and festival director Brenda Lieberman said in a press release. "I'm excited we've reached 15 years, continually growing, and achieving what we set out to do! I love this festival, and what we've become so far!"
Highlights at the festival include a spotlight on Lynne Ramsay with screenings of Ratcatcher and We Need to Talk About Kevin along with a screening of her new film You Were Never Really Here.
The fest also includes the return of the Found Footage Festival, the indie game CUFFcade, the beloved Saturday Morning All-You-Can-Eat Cereal Cartoon Party, multiple shorts packages and a secret screening of an upcoming film.
That said, the star of the show is the batch of feature films. Here's the full list of films:
