Many of the original cast members of Community are returning for an upcoming spinoff movie, out next year on Peacock, and they might have just found a new costar: Gillian Anderson, who said she would join the cast after Joel McHale accidentally tagged her on Twitter.
McHale tagged various Community costars when confirming that the "six seasons and a movie" campaign was successful. Instead of Gillian Jacobs, who doesn't have Twitter, he tagged @GillianA — which is Gillian Anderson's handle.
She responded, "Gillian Jacobs who? I'm in."

She added a winky emoji just to confirm that she's joking, but who knows — given Community's tendency to commit to a joke, we wouldn't be surprised if this actually happens. After all, "six seasons and a movie" started as an off-hand joke in Season 2 before actually becoming real.
