As evidenced by its first trailer, the next Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie from producer Michael Bay will feature Bebop, Rocksteady and Casey Jones. Now, we've learned that Krang is joining the list of characters too.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows has pretty much been considered a necessary box office evil up until now, but Krang arrives with some interesting casting news — he'll be voiced by comedian and musician Fred Armisen.
The SNL alum, Portlandia star and Seth Meyers bandleader will lend his serious voicework talents to the pink, stomach-dwelling alien that was first introduced in the Ninja Turtles cartoon. It's unclear which one of his hyper-specific accents Armisen will draw on for the role.
