Last month, Chris Evans bid an emotional farewell to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, seemingly hanging up his Captain America, spandex once and for all. As it turns out, however, it may have been premature.
Speaking with USA Today, frequent Marvel director Joe Russo said, "I think it was more emotional for him than it was us because he's not done yet. I won't explain what that means, but the audience will soon understand what I'm talking about."
Your guess is as good as ours regarding what that means, but perhaps Evans will dust off the suit for one more scuffle after all.
Either way, we will definitely see Evans as Captain America when Avengers 4 hits theatres on May 3, 2019.
