In addition to the actual building blocks, Lego has already spawned numerous videogames and film properties. Now, it will enter the realm of reality television via a new competition series with the help of none other than Brad Pitt.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Pitt is set to produce a series called Lego Masters through his Plan B company, in collaboration with Endemol Shine North America.

The series will see 12 teams of two compete in ambitious Lego building competitions, with a team eliminated each week. The show has been picked up by Fox.

"Lego Masters has everything you want in a reality-competition: an incredibly quirky and unique twist on a brand revered by billions of people, exciting team-based battles driven by creativity and a premise that's ultra-family friendly," Fox's Rob Wade said. "It's bold, fun and unlike anything else on television, and we're thrilled to bring Lego Masters to American fans."

Lego Masters previously launched in the United Kingdom in 2017. It became Channel 4's highest-rated new show.
