The Bourne Supremacy

Novelist Robert Ludlum's long-standing amnesiac Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) returns in this Bond-esque sequel to the first hit. International intrigue, conspiracies within the American spy community and visceral, impactful chases define this familiar-looking tale. It's essential the first movie again — Bourne still doesn't know who he is, and attempts to unravel a conspiracy to frame him for murder. An excellent supporting cast (Joan Allen, Julia Stiles, Brian Cox) and fast-paced action make for excellent air-conditioned entertainment. (Universal)
