Next year's Aquaman recently finished filming in Newfoundland and Labrador, though a wrap party has made headlines for all the wrong reasons.
As the CBC reports, a member of the film's crew was stabbed by a stranger on George Street last week after the party. The attack took place on September 1 following the party at Greensleeves Irish pub.
Apparently the victim was speaking with some women when a young man approached them and became confrontational. The young man left, then came back later to pick a fight. It was then that a second young man stabbed the crew member.
The stabbing victim was taken to a hospital, where he was treated and released. Three other people were also injured as bystanders tried to detain the alleged attacker. A few days later, a 22-year-old man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
Aquaman is set to open on December 21, 2018.
