Tim Heidecker

"Katy Perry Leaked Superbowl Song 2015"

As the Red Hot Chili Peppers learned last year, performing at halftime at the Super Bowl makes you a prime target for a parody song. Now, funnyman Tim Heidecker has parodied 2015 performers Katy Perry and Lenny Kravitz with a new comedy tune.

The track is labelled on YouTube as "Leaked Superbowl Song 2015" with a featured appearance from Lenny Kravitz. It's an extremely cheerful pop ditty in which the faux-Perry helpfully lays out some of the rules of football, explaining, "Don't like to dribble, pass the ball / Run the ball, go to the end zone to score the points," before the whole thing culminates in a chorus of "Football, Super Bowl." As for Kravitz, his cameo takes the form of a spoken word sponsorship message.

The caption suggests it was made with fellow musical comedian JP Hasson. Hear it below.

The real Perry and Kravitz will perform at halftime at the Super Bowl, which takes place on February 1 in Glendale, AZ. The New England Patriots will face the Seattle Seahawks.
