Earlier this week, Toronto R&B superstar the Weeknd announced plans for his next album and unveiled his "Starboy" collaboration with Daft Punk. Before the LP of the same name lands later this fall, though, the man born Abel Tesfaye will once again grace the Saturday Night Live stage.
He'll appear as the musical guest on the iconic sketch show during the show's Season 42 premiere on October 1. As revealed on Instagram, the episode will be hosted by Suicide Squad actress Margot Robbie.
Tesfaye appeared on SNL last season, serving as the musical guest on an Amy Schumer-hosted episode in October 2015. He also came out for a surprise performance alongside Future when the rapper's name was on the marquee alongside Jonah Hill in March of this year.
There's no word yet on whether Tesfaye's robot-masked musician pals will be joining him on stage, but it should be worth a watch regardless.

As previously reported, Starboy is due out on November 25 through XO/Republic.
